Leonardo DiCaprio films fight scene for new flick Inception as he plans to lose weight for role


Leonardo takes a punch to the face as he films a dramatic fight sequence for his latest movie Inception.
The Hollywood actor, 34, was roughed up as he shot scenes for the sci-fi film in Monaco on Monday.
In another sequence his character is seen jumping from a balcony. But the Titanic star was taking no risks and got a stunt double to stand in for him.

His look-a-like was hoisted on a wire and dropped, before Leonardo resumed  the sequence at ground level.
The Catch Me If You Can actor was also seen running through a crowd as he was pursued by an angry-looking man.
Leonardo is reportedly set to go on a fast in a bid to drop the pounds for his role.

A set insider told RadarOnline.com: There's an action scene coming up at the end of the year in which he needs to appear emaciated.
'Leo isn't the kind of guy who can just lose a radical amount of weight. He's following a strict diet and is embarking on a rigorous workout regime.
'Leo's a pretty determined kind of guy, when he sets his mind to things he always achieves them. Though this is going to be hard for him, you can guarantee he'll succeed.'

Details of the film, directed by Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan, have been kept tightly under wraps.
But Inception portrays a world where we can enter other people's dreams.
DiCaprio's character Cobb has been described as a 'CEO type,' but he is also something of a criminal. He dives into people’s dreams to extract information.
