Kurt Russell replaces Kevin Costner in Tarantino’s Django Unchained

Kurt Russell
Mr Goldie Hawn will be picking up where Kevin Costner left off as sadistic Ace in Quentin Tarantino’s Western, Django Unchained
Since Kevin Costner said sayonara to Tarantino’s Django Unchained citing that snake pit of vague euphemism “scheduling conflicts”, as his reason for leaving, the movie has been one sadistic plantation overseer down.
Not any longer, as Kurt Russell [Big Trouble in Little China, The Thing] has been drafted in to play Ace, the cruel slave master who, we hope, will be receiving the business end of Jamie Foxx’s fist in the revenge Western. The role marks a reunion of sorts, as Tarantino first looked to Russell's talents for his 2007 Death Proof.
Foxx plays the titular Django, a freed slave turned bounty hunter on  a mission to liberate his wife from a nasty plantation owner. Christoph Waltz, and will also star.
Django Unchained is due for release in December 2012.
