'I'm completely traumatised because we've never both gone and left the kids, so we're going on separate planes - flying out and back on separate planes,' the five-time Oscar-nominated actress told me this week. Cruise passengers who plan to dress up as fictional characters from James Cameron's hit film Titanic during a cruise to commemorate 100 years since the ship sank, have been slammed by a relative of a passenger who died in the tragedy. The Titanic Memorial Cruise, operated by the Fred.Olsen MS Balmoral ship, will trace the journey of the historic vessel 100 years later. Passengers booked to travel on the 12-night trip have discussed their plans for the anniversary, which include fancy dress, plans for dinner and dancing and laying wreaths, on online forums, prompting accusations of bad taste from fellow users. Now Julian Fellowes is to create a mini-series about the sinking of the Titanic. Lord Fellowes, who had success charting the relationships between the upper and lower classes in his Oscar-winning film  Gosford Park before creating Downton Abbey, will again look at that dynamic in the story about the doomed liner. ITV said the series will delve into the ‘unique perspectives’ of the passengers on the ‘unsinkable’ ship which was holed by an iceberg on its maiden voyage in 1912. Written in 1961 by Richard Yates, the novel Revolutionary Road describes how a young couple get married for the wrong reasons and find themselves torn between their own desires and pressures to conform in 1950s America. It's been described as a no-holds barred study of marital life. So I think that rules out a mushy Celine Dion soundtrack then.
