Leonardo DiCaprio to Head to the Wild West for



According to the Los Angeles Times, Universal is developing an adaptation of Boston Terans 2010 western novel The Creed of Violence, with Leonardo DiCaprio in talks to play the lead.

The story follows a smalltime assassin in 1910 who transports guns to Mexico with a lawman constantly pursuing him. Although the role DiCaprio is considering is still unknown, if the Inception star signs on, it will not only fast track production of the film but it will be the second western he is starring in, the first being Quentin Tarantinos Django Unchained.
Todd Field (Little Children) adapted the screenplay and is set to direct the film.
