Jack Bauer gets closer to the big screen as 24 film feature moves ahead

If you wanted to know what happened to Jack Bauer after that clock finally ticked down to zero, you may get the chance in 2013 as 24 movie presses ahead
Those of you who’ve kept up with Jack Bauer’s real-time terrorist-slapping shenanigans on telly will know that the end of season 8 saw the maverick on the run. After uncovering a Russian controversy, Bauer was forced to leave his family and go into hiding as the clock finally ticked down to zero.
Well now it looks more likely than ever
we’ll find out what comes next for Bauer, as the long-discussed 24 feature film moves ahead. A script by State of Play and Flightplan’s Billy Ray is currently receiving some final tweaks by Die Hard 4.0 writer Mark Bomback, and the search to replace Tony Scott as director is about to begin.
So far the only cast member confirmed for the feature, pencilled in for a 2013 release, is Kiefer Sutherland as Bauer. You know what? They probably don’t need any other cast members, just Sutherland, an abandoned warehouse, a terrorist’s face drawn on a balloon and some self-righteous monologues. Voila!
