Leonardo DiCaprio eyes Alan Turing biopic

could be lining up another biopic with the starring role of Alan Turing, technology legend...
Although J. Edgar, Leonardo DiCaprio’s forthcoming collaboration with director won’t be released until next year, there’s already news of another biopic that the Inception actor is keen on.

, from first time screenwriter Graham Moore, has been picked up by Warner Brothers in light of DiCaprio’s interest in the starring role. The film tells the true story of maths wiz Alan Turing, who is considered one of the pioneering minds behind computer science and artificial intelligence.
But Turing was convicted of homosexuality in 1952 before committing suicide at the age of 41 by eating a poisoned apple. It’s thought that his story is the inspiration for Steve Jobs' Apple logo today.
The story is an intriguing concept and, with DiCaprio in the drivers seat and reportedly interested in directing, the film seems designed to be an Oscar contender down the line. Watch this space.

China is a very complex country. It’s like going on a boat on a peacuful river and occasionaly having to dodge the obstacles in your way. Sometimes it’s just a rock and sometimes it’s a big current. Along with this metaphore, I have an interesting story that happened in Guillin. We were riding it’s famous river, going along the water in a bambu boat. When suddenly, another boat came too close to us. The driver dodge the boat but one of our chairs, fell in the water. It was very poetic to observe how the chair was submerging into the water bit by bit, and we could not do much about, as the current of the river moved us forward.
