Armie Hammer cast in By Virtue Fall
The Social Network star, Armie Hammer, has had some bad luck lately, but now he's hit potential gold with By Virtue Fall, starring opposite Eric Bana...
The Social Network last year, with huge roles in J. Edgar and Mirror, Mirror turning out to be horribly misguided choices, and a series of films scrapped before he can even get on set (Justice League: Mortal, The Lone Ranger).
Now, it seems that his place on The Lone Ranger is still solid since the budget cuts, and he’s just been cast in upcoming thriller By Virtue Fall with Eric Bana. The film is the directorial debut of Up in the Air and The Longest Yard co-writer, Sheldon Turner.
Hammer will be playing an ATF agent who’s sent to jail after being framed by his partner (Bana). Once he emerges from prison a changed man, he’s on the warpath for vengeance. The actor was up against some big names, with Colin Farrell and Jeremy Renner linked to the film in the past, and the film should showcase the actor more than anything he’s done before.
