Twilight star Bronson Pelletier is charged with public intoxication following airport urination incident
He was recently hit with a legal double whammy after arrests for urinating in public and cocaine and meth possession.
And now Twilight star Bronson Pelletier is in even more of a legal pickle after being charged over the former incident, which occurred last week
The troubled 25-year-old is to face the full force of the law after the Los Angeles City Attorney's office decided to pursue the matter.
According to TMZ, he was charged with one count of being drunk in public after he allegedly urinated in the middle of an LAX terminal while waiting for a flight last Monday.
It is a less serious misdemeanour charge, which means he faces a maximum of six months in jail if he is convicted.
Bronson is due back in court for his arraignment on January 7, which means he will be officially charged before the court.
The actor, who plays a member of the hit movie series' macho wolf pack, denies the public urination part of this case, and it may be cleared up based on video of the arrest.
He is due in court again on January 17 to answer to meth and cocaine possession charges, stemming from his OTHER arrest this month.
It was previously reported he was thrown off his flight at the time after causing a disturbance on board and being considered 'too intoxicated to fly'.
The urination incident occured just two hours after police had to remove the Canadian actor from the plane.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that after they got Bronson off the flight they told him to wait in the terminal for a later one to give him a chance to sober up.
After leaving the scene they then received another call claiming Bronson was 'urinating in public by the gate'.
To make matters worse it came in the same week he was arrested for allegedly possessing cocaine and methamphetamine.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ, he was arrested in West Hollywood December 8th at the Gym Bar.
An insider said the bar's staff called the police because he appeared 'wasted' and refused to leave.
Eyewitnesses say he was going from person to person and making everyone feel 'uncomfortable.'
Law enforcement sources said he was placed under arrest for public intoxication, but when officers searched him, they found cocaine and methamphetamine.
