Taylor Swift's Nashville home 'intruder' has charges against him dropped

Dropped: The man arrested for trespassing in Taylor Swift's Nashville home earlier this month has had charges against him dropped
The man arrested for trespassing on Taylor Swift's Nashville property earlier this month has had all charges against him dropped.
Jacob Kulke, 24, was arrested on December 14th after allegedly climbing over a fence near Taylor's property.
Police claimed he told them he was the country warbler's boyfriend, and had taken a bus from Wisconsin to be with her on her birthday.
Prosecutors decided not to pursue criminal charges against Kulke on Thursday.
Kulke, of Marshfield, Wisconsin will remain in jail in Nashville as he fights extradition to Colorado for probation violation, and did not appear in court during his Thursday hearing.
His lawyer Sean McKinney said prosecutors discussed the decision not to prosecute with Taylor's representatives.
He added his client is not guilty of the trespassing charge and was in fact tricked by someone into believing that he was communicating with the star.
He said: 'It is the defence's position that he was misled by someone else.
'Mr Kulke had reasonable belief that he was invited on to the premises.'
Mr McKinney said that prosecutors could still bring the charge back within the statutes of limitations, but no restrictions were placed on him by the prosecutors.
He added: 'He is still a big fan of Taylor Swift.'
Assistant District Attorney Tali Rosenblum said that Kulke has already spent 13 days in jail and the trespassing charge is a misdemeanor that carries a maximum 30-day sentence.

She said they wanted to resolve the charge in Tennessee so that authorities could extradite him to Colorado.
Miss Rosenblum said: 'Mr. Kulke is looking for his 15 minutes of fame, and he got all he deserved.'
Kulke was taken to jail and held on a $10,000 bond after telling law enforcement officers he had been in contact with Swift 'via social media.'
Swift, 23, had been in the UK with boyfriend Harry Styles and spent her birthday with the One Direction star in the north of England.
