A Collaboration requested specifically by Remo Ruffini, proprietor of moncler cap, who thus continues on his worldwide project to give the quilted jacket a complete identity: at any time of day and for every occasion, morning, noon and night.
A complete pret-à-porter range that substitutes the co-branding initiated with Balenciaga, whilst the collaboration with Junya Watanabe continues for the men’s clothing.
The intention is precise and the tastes are well-defined: resplendent and luxurious, with jewelled details and the svelte modern style of the line. Gamme Rouge is the Moncler collection designed by Alessandra Facchinetti, which thus completes Moncler’s range of proposals.
The collection is glamorous, starting with the colours: sophisticated white gold with touches of black, ice and fur in shades of pale gold. Neither trendy nor fashion-following, each garment has a story of its own and features elegant embroidering and details that go beyond all seasonal preconceptions.
The quilted jackets flaunt distinctive workmanship techniques such as raised padding, graduated circles made up of countless layers of organza, delicate plissé assemblages, quilted mink that recalls the impeccable taste of the Fifties and embroidery with irregular sequins delicately veiled with organza.
In this quest for perfection, even the brand name becomes a satin-effect gold brooch and the belt buckle a smooth Plexiglas monolith with a central pin. A small collection of costume jewellery, brooches, pendants and belts rounds off Gamme Rouge, providing an eccentric touch of elegance.
On 20 February at 18.00, Milan’s Palazzo Visconti will host a preview of Gamme Rouge “le Doudoune Unique”, with a selection of the most significant garments revealed to a selected audience of buyers and journalists for the very first time.
